Ekvita Consulting is looking for a HSE Engineer. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To Monitor occupational safety and health in the workplace;
• To create occupational health & safety and emergency response documentation / procedures.
• Carry out operational inspections in the area and conduct weekly / monthly inspection reports;
• Participate in the inspection of sanitary conditions in the workplace;
• Organize the development of comprehensive plans to improve working conditions;
• Participate in the inspection of the technical condition of the building, facilities, and equipment for occupational safety;
• Provide introductory guidance to employers and assist staff in addressing occupational safety issues;
• Participate in testing the knowledge of employees and engineers on occupational safety and health;
• Participate in the investigation of industrial accidents;
• Review and take appropriate action on workers' safety applications, letters, and complaints;
• Report in accordance with existing forms and regulations on occupational safety and health. 

Required qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of implementing safety and environmental management systems programs, including occupational hygiene in a project-based environment.
• Up-to-date working knowledge of applicable HSE laws, local legislations etc.
• Knowledge of recognized safety and environmental management system standards (e.g.NEBOSH, IOSH etc. audit standards (i.e., ISO 45001) and behavioral safety techniques;
• HSE compliance auditing and management systems assessments experience.
