“EKVITA ACADEMY” IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THE LAUNCH OF ACCA DIPIFR COURSES FOR THE DECEMBER 2023 EXAMINATION SESSION!

The program will consist of theoretical and practi cal material. The program also includes a midterm exam and midterm tests that will improve your preparation for the exam. The course language and materials are in English, but an explanation of the material is also provided in both Azerbaijani and/or Russian.

 

What are the benefits of participating in this course?

The Diploma in International Financial Reporting (DipIFR) is an international IFRS qualification developed by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

By joining the course, you will gain a deep understanding and knowledge of key IFRS standards and requirements for their implementation. In addition, it will help develop your IFRS financial reporting skills.

Holders of DipIFR are exempted from the first stage of the examination for local certificate in professional accounting (Peşəkar Mühasib Sertifikatı).

 

Structure of the DipIFR exam

This is a written exam lasting 3 hours and 15 minutes. The passing score is 50 percent or more. The exam is held twice a year, in June and December, at the assigned ACCA examination center.

The exam consists of 2 sections, which are a combination of calculations and written answers.

Evaluation points are distributed as follows:

Section A: 1 question (25 points)

Section B: 3 questions (25 points each)-total 75 points

 

Who is eligible for the DipIFR exam?

This exam can be taken by those who work in the field of finance, use international standards and would like to improve their knowledge in this field.

There are some minimum requirements established by ACCA Global professional accountancy body to apply for the DipIFR exam, and candidates must fulfil at least one of the four conditions listed below:

- Two years of relevant accounting experience and related degree (attracting at least ACCA qualifying exceptions for Applied Knowledge and Corporate and Commercial Law (LW) exams)

- Two years of relevant accounting experience and an ACCA certificate in international financial reporting

- Relevant accounting experience of at least three years

- ACCA partner status

 

Course duration and fee

The duration of the course is estimated at 112 hours (including midterm exam and tests).

Course fee: AZN 890 (excluding VAT). If the payment is divided into a month, the total course fee will be AZN 990 (excluding VAT).

The deadline for registration: 26 August, 2023

Course start dates: the first week of September 2023

The course will be conducted by Samira Melikova, Senior Manager at EKVITA. She had more than 20 years’ experience in accounting, financial and tax services. Holder of the ACCA DipIFR and ACCA CerIFR.
