Ekvita is currently looking for an “Audit Assistant” who want to build their career in the field of audit and finance:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To participate in various stages of audit projects;
• Collect and evaluate audit evidence that meets audit objectives;
• Participate in the preparation of project reports and reconciliation of accounting data;
• Monitoring the application of relevant accounting principles, IAS knowledge, as well as audit standards in assigned tasks;
• Participate in the preparation of opinions on financial statements and present the results to management or other interested parties;
• Execution of other audit tasks prepared by the head of audit;
• Continuously work towards improving the efficiency of the audit process;

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

• Higher education in the field of auditing and financial accounting;
• Technical computer skills (MS Windows, MS Office, 1C, etc.);
• Excel knowledge at an advanced level: ability to work with various formulas, pivots and datasheets;
• To be aware of the structure and standards of financial statements (IFRS);
• Mathematical analysis, observation, fact-analyzing, self-criticism skills;
• Having ACCA certificates is an advantage;
• Azerbaijani language (excellent) and Russian language (intermediate level).

• Conduct other related daily works defined or assigned by line manager.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

• Higher education in the field of auditing and financial accounting;
• Technical computer skills (MS Windows, MS Excel, MS Office, 1C, etc.);
• Mathematical analysis, observation, fact-analyzing skills;
• Starting ACCA certification exams or successfully passing several exams in ACCA is an advantage;
• Azerbaijani language (excellent) and Russian language (intermediate level).
