"Ferghana Valley Rural Enterprise Development" Project
EKVITA, in partnership with Encompass Consulting and Zabala Innovation Spain, is leading the "Ferghana Valley Rural Enterprise Development" project funded by the World Bank.
The project provides acceleration training, business advisory and mentoring support to start-ups in cooperation with the Agency for Innovative Development and The International Strategic Centre for Agri-Food Development in Uzbekistan. In order to discuss the project progress and align activities with the expectations of the Agency for Innovative Development, on 10th of March, the Project Director from the Technical Assistance team together with Local Project Coordinator met with the Director of the National Office for Innovation and Technology Transfer in Tashkent. While the Technical Assistance team continues the delivery of capacity building activities in the region, the team has also announced its first call for receiving start-up applications for initiating the acceleration program foreseen under the project.
