EKVITA ANNOUNCES “TAX CONSULTANT” VACANCY

Job description:

  • Preparation and submission of all statutory reports in accordance with the tax obligations of the clients;
  • Manage all bank and cash transactions (preparing payment orders, expense reports and other related documents);
  • Preparation of client invoices;
  • Making accounting entries based on clients’ transactions in accounting software (1C, SAP);
  • Payroll preparation;
  • Assisting in preparation of management and financial reports;
  • Disputing and correspondence with state tax authorities on behalf of clients;
  • Timely respond clients’ queries;
  • Carrying out month-end closing processes;
  • Supervise and lead junior staff;
  • Assisting in conducting tax audit processes for clients;
  • Performing other daily tasks as per the requirement.

 

Candidate requirements:

  • University degree in economics, finance, accounting and/or other related business disciplines;
  • Strong knowledge in tax and labour legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
  • Solid skills and working experience in MS Office Programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and 1C accounting software (other accounting software is an advantage);
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in the related filed;
  • Pre-intermediate level of English (Russian is an advantage);
  • Professional qualifications are an additional advantage (such as ACCA F3, F7, PMS);
  • Strong motivation for growth and professional development;
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet the deadlines;
  • Problem-solving and decision- making skills.
